Thank you Abena for the opportunity to share Beauty from the Inside Out!

To learn more, see links below: Why Broccoli: Broccoli is part of the cruciferous vegetable family -- the family of veggies that includes cauliflower, brussel sprouts and kale – which are an important part of your diet. Consuming these veggies can help prevent certain types of cancer, while they also provide essential vitamins and nutrients. Broccoli is a rich source of: K, C, A, Carotenoids, Manganese, B2/Riboflavin and Selenium https://www.all-about-juicing.com/how-to-juice-broccoli.html Why celery: Celery juice aids the Liver. Celery juice improves liver function by increasing the production of enzymes. Studies show that celery helps reduce fat build-up in the liver. The nutrients in celery protect the liver, and actually, help the liver produce enzymes that help flush fat and toxins out. It also lowers inflammation, supports weight loss, helps heal digestion, reduces bloating, heals eczema & psoriasis, fights infections, helps prevents UTI's, healing for acne, prevents high blood pressure, helps lower high cholesterol, prevents ulcers and protects liver health. https://www.medicalmedium.com/blog/12-reasons-to-drink-celery-juice Why chlorophyll: Chlorophyll is the green pigment in plant cells responsible for producing energy by way of photosynthesis when exposed to sunlight. Available from plants or supplements, chlorophyll aids detoxification, boost immune system and has health benefits that can improve your overall wellness both inside and out. https://www.iherb.com/blog/chlorophyll/1397?gclid=CjwKCAiAm7OMBhAQEiwArvGi3JXq2aBym_itqXfxfINfwrcO7jg-lpAA7SbdKX5AePNmyBKC01nFTxoCyewQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds Why cucumber: Cucumber helps the body flush out toxins because it contains the organic compound citrulline, which is an amino acid that has been shown to help the liver and kidneys filter and get rid of ammonia. Ammonia comes in external forms, but is also a by-product of the proteins our bodies are burning up constantly for energy, and it’s quite damaging to our cells. Cucumber also contains citrulline, but not as much as watermelon. Watermelon may also just give the liver an overall boost. Cucumber Juice: https://m.facebook.com/groups/rocanatural/permalink/1763670207105105/ Why green Apple: Rich in antioxidants, vitamins like Vitamin C, Vitamin A, Vitamin K, fibre, minerals and a range of other important nutrients that are benefactors for your hair, skin and health and low in sugar. https://www.femina.in/wellness/home-remedies/health-benefits-of-green-apples-187272.html Why Hemp Seeds: Hemp seeds also contain high levels of omega-3 and omega-6 essential fatty acids. Studies have shown that the ideal ratio for the fatty acids in hemp seeds is 3 to 1. At this ratio, these fatty acids help to support healthy cholesterol levels, immune system function, and may help regulate your metabolism. https://www.webmd.com/diet/hemp-seeds-good-for-you Why lemon (or lime): Lemon or lime juice helps stimulate and regulate the digestive track (which is why it’s so helpful with constipation, heartburn and gas), stimulates bile production, and thins out bile, which allows it to flow more freely. Bile is produced by the liver and ends up in the small intestine to break down lipids (fats) that we’ve consumed. Why sea moss: Sea moss is a type of red, yellow or purple algae that grows on the Atlantic coastlines of North America, Europe, and the Caribbean Islands and has 92 vital nutrients out of 102 that the body needs. Since the 1800s, the Irish have been harvesting it from their rocky shores to use as medicine and nutrients they needed during the potatoe famine. Sea moss help in increasing Immune Support, Digestive Health and mental support. https://m.facebook.com/groups/rocanatural/permalink/1681569348648525/ Why water: H20 is just plain good for us and has no calories or sugar. It helps flush nasty toxins and waste through our system, giving organs like the liver and kidney an easier time doing their job. Also, drinking water can help lose weight, reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles, and maintain healthy skin and nails. Plain and simple: water detoxes, from the inside out! https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/317698 Optional: add Mint leaves as a nice refreshing flavor to add to your drink. On top of that, it can help you digest more effectively, improving the flow of bile from the liver, to the gallbladder, to the small intestine, where it breaks down dietary fats. Mint also helps relax cramped up stomach muscles. I attended Transformation Thursday and what I loved about it is that Dorcas is not just talking the talk, she is living the natural lifestyle. She presented so much information about how you can switch to a healthy lifestyle and transform your life and your health. I appreciated her passion about maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
